Many of you don’t know where I got “JoopJoop Designs” so I figured I should explain myself so there aren’t any lingering questions.

When I was trying to come up with a business name, I wanted to incorporate something from my native language, Lao. My husband and I joke around a lot and he would say “JoopJoop” when he was in trouble. “Joop” means kiss in Lao (Thai also).  We both thought it was perfect!

At the beginning, I had planned on  doing both event planning and photography. Then the opportunity to move to Florida came up and the event planning part of “JoopJoop designs” had to be dropped. I decided to still keep it in the business name just in case I get the opportunity to do event planning again.

So there you have it! A little bit of my heritage and a lot of love between my hubby hubs and I. Both of which makes me who I am each and every day.
